Aaron Covington

Aaron Covington is a screenwriter best known for co-writing Creed (2015, Warner Bros.) with Ryan Coogler. Since then he has worked on a number of projects, including the video game NBA2K17 (Visual Concepts) and the NBC sitcom Grand Crew.

In addition to screenwriting, Covington is a creative who has worked in film, TV, comic books, video games, web series, podcasts, animation, and more. He is the writer and director of the short film The Last Real Magical Negro.

Covington’s work has been nominated for Oscars, Golden Globes, NAACP Awards, Hugo Awards, and D.I.C.E. awards.

Currently Covington is making content for his podcasts, spec'n the next great Hollywood run, fumbling through a book idea, developing a comic book, and, most importantly, raising a child.
